Materials & craftsmanship

The Matera italian leather briefcase is handmade in our Tuscan workshop in Santa Croce sull’Arno. The full-grain cowhide is vegetable-tanned at Consorzio Vera Pelle Italiana certified tanneries and hand-finished, a leather that ages well and becomes a work companion. YKK zippers and brushed brass or palladium fittings from Florentine hardware workshops. 100% Made in Italy.

The construction is soft, with three compartments and a double-zip closure. Inside there is a padded pocket for an iPad, tablet or laptop, leather pen and phone pockets, two slip pockets and two zip pockets with a leather gusset. Leather handles, a removable and adjustable strap, a vertical front zip pocket and a back trolley sleeve.
